What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent by the websites you visit and stored on your terminal device (in the folder containing your browser’s files). These files allow for identifying the user’s device and displaying the website in a form matching his individual preferences. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time of being stored on the terminal device and a unique number.  More information on cookies is available at allaboutcookies.org.

What do we use cookies for?

Cookies are used to adept the contents of a website to the preferences of the user and to optimise the use of websites. Cookies allow us to understand how users use the websites and to modify them so that this use is made easier and more interesting. Cookies also provide us with statistical data on user traffic and the users using our websites. Cookies may also be used by our advertisers and research companies.

Deleting cookies

By default, browsers allow the placing of cookies on the user’s terminal device. These settings may be changed at any time so that the automatic use of cookies is blocked or the user is notified of each individual case in which they are downloaded. Detailed information on the possibility and the ways of using cookies is available in your software’s settings section (the browser).  Please remember that deleting or blocking cookies may result in difficulties, and in some cases in the inability to use the website.
